    A tip is something short about something that might happen. "Advice" is usually longer and more involved.

    Mike's initial response treated your question as being about nouns - "a tip" and "advice".However, I wonder (because of the spelling of "advise") if, in fact, you were asking about the verbs "to tip" and "to advise".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
