This is from experience in heavy weather operation to be able to lift a person clear

    Hello everyone!

The full sentence reads as follows "This is from experience in heavy weather operation to be able to lift a person clear of the seas before he is washed through the net by the next big wave" and is extracted from manual about the use of Dacon Rescue Scoop. A rescue scope is a kind of net aimed at fishing survivors out of the water.

The (bolded) sentence in question is preceded by another one, namely, "Lifting speed (of a crane) at the hook to be at least 50-60 m / min.".

The way I understand the main question is as follows:

"Thanks to experience gained in heavy weather operation, (it was concluded that) the lifting speed of at least 50-60 m / min. helps to lift a person just above the sea surface before he/she is washed off the net into the water by the next big wave" or "Thanks to experience gained in heavy weather operation, (it was concluded that) the lifting speed of at least 50-60 m / min. makes it possible to lift a person just above the sea surface before he/she is washed off the net into the water by the next big wave".

Could you tell me if my reasoning is right?

    Thank you.

Please do help me. It is very important.

    The right interpretation matters.
