    (a) half an hour's chat ?

    Hello everyone,
Do we need the article with 'a half an hour's chat' (=a half-hour chat) and does the phrase itself sound right? Can we put hyphens in between these words: a half-an-hour chat or will only a half-hour chat do?
    Thanks in advance!
