    dad above the crowd

Today, we had the semifinal match with our rival team, West High School. But it didn't matter to me whether our team won or lost. For me, Pam was the only enemy that needed to be defeated. In the first quarter of the game, when I got the ball on the rebound, I heard my dad above the crowd yelling, "Give her the ball!" I just ignored him at first. But when I heard him again, I hesitated for one second and then did what he told me to do.

What does "dad above the crowd" mean? Was the dad physically over the crowd or was his voice louder than that of crowd?

    Re: dad above the crowd

Please someone answer my question. It seems the dad was physically higher than the crowd.

Dad was louder than the crowd noise.
