have conversations / stir up feelings

Our children will spend a lot of time in a virtual reality where they will be able to conduct experiments, play sports and have conversations. However, these actions will be virtual, so they will not stir up real feelings

I've written these sentences, but I don't think they are correct.
Is it natural to say "have conversations" in that way? Does the phrasal verb "stir up" make sense?

If you cannot get the meaning of these sentences, I'd like to say that in a virtual reality our kids will have virtual opponents, virtual life etc. So they will have virtual feelings (not real).

    I hope it's clear now.

    Thanks.
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

I think that your usages above are perfectly correct and natural. But I doubt your conclusion. In my opinion virtual experience can and does give rise to real feelings, not virtual feelings.

I agree with Probus. The feelings are real.
