    "have to" in Past Perfect

    Hello!

I am not sure how to use "have to" in this 3rd conditional sentence where I am supposed to use Past Perfect in the "IF" clause:

If I had to do the course again, I would have studied harder.

Is this correct or should I say If I had had to do the course ...

    Bize
