Should I use 'among others' or 'such as'?

    Hi,
    Here are my constructions:

    1. Ability to monitor and configure devices among others the company's Cisco Systems, workstations and servers using open-source and Microsoft software.
    2. Ability to monitor and configure devices such as the company's Cisco Systems, workstations and servers using open-source and Microsoft software.

So my question is, should I use 'among others' or 'such as'?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    I would use "including."
"Such as" is OK, but "among others" is incorrectly used in your sentence.

Alternatively, you can use "among others" this way:

Ability to monitor and configure devices which include, among others, the company's Cisco Systems, workstations and servers using open-source and Microsoft software.

But don't use both. If you say "such as" or "including" it already carries the "among others" idea.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Now, is this grammatically correct?

Ability to monitor and configure devices including the company's Cisco Systems, workstations and servers using open-source and Microsoft software.
