John hasn't met a girl that....

    Hi teachers,

I wanted to make a sentence with 'made somebody think about something' but I am not sure about the correctness of the following sentence. Can you please tell me if the following sentence is correct and are the sentences have 'made me think, wanted me to do' causative?

John hasn't met a girl that made him think about getting married.

To me, it would be better as "John hasn't yet met a girl who has made him think of marriage." ('who', and present perfect)

I agree with both of Raymott's points but I have no problem with the sentence ending "... about getting married" rather than "... about marriage."
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
