people in some parts of Africa were forced to walk

The answer is 5, which seems to be wrong. What about 2? Does "they had to walk" mean "they were forced to walk"?
1.Which of the following is not true according to the passage?
① The Hippo Roller is a barrel-shaped container designed to transport 90 kilograms of water
People in some parts of Africa were forced to walk long distances to collect their water.
③ The method of transporting water in buckets caused health problems as well as injuries.
④ The Hippo Roller was specifically designed to alleviate the suffering caused by a lack of access to water.
⑤ By changing the delivery system the Hippo Roller could be a solution to water scarcity

Clean water is essential for our health. However, it is not common in some parts of the world. Those who can't get enough clean water can ⓐ[be exposed / expose] to many health risks. (A) In 2009, for example, the UN reported that around 1,000 people in Zimbabwe had died due to cholera, a disease caused by drinking unclean water. (B) To avoid ⓑ[to get / getting] diseases, people in many parts of Africa had to walk long distances every day to get clean water. (C) After filling up their buckets with water, they carried them back home on their heads. This caused not only pain, but also health problems. (D) It is made of a large plastic barrel and a long handle. The barrel can hold up to 90 kilograms of water, and people just need to roll it back home. (E) They can now carry a large amount of clean water with much less effort. By making it ⓒ[easier / more easily] for the poor in Africa to get clean water, the Hippo Roller has saved countless lives.

Re: people in some parts of Africa were forced to walk

Does "they had to walk" mean "they were forced to walk"? Yes, so 2 is not the right answer.
⑤ By changing the delivery system the Hippo Roller could be a solution to water scarcity. This is an incorrect statement, so it's the right answer. Just because gathering scarce water is easier doesn't make the water any less scarce.

Re: people in some parts of Africa were forced to walk

Yes, they "had" to walk is the same as they were "forced" to walk. Not that someone put a gun to their head to make them do it, but that the necessity of water to their continuing existence forced them to do this.
