Sentence: I had to move onto my next task??

    Hello Folks,

Is it a correct sentence : after finishing my first task I had to move onto my next task.

    Looking forward to your responses.

    Cheers,

In North America we would write "move on to my next task". I think there would also be a very slight difference in pronunciation.

    Yes, "on to" is better.
