Hi everyone, I have always been told that adjectives are never be plural in English, but I heard someone describing an exhibition and they said "An everyday objects exhibition". Is this correct, should it not be "An everyday object exhibition" because "object" is being used as an adjective? Or am I wrong?
Thanks as always!
I agree with Calis. 'An everyday objects exhibition is 'an exhibition of everyday objects'.
Similarly, you wouldn't call an exhibition of false teeth 'a false tooth exhibition'.
Now I need to study modifiers and find the difference between them and adjective!
