    Question "so that" or "so" or "that"

    Hello, everybody
    Which of the following sentences is grammatically correct?


    1. Please leave me a message so that I may call you back.
    2. Please leave me a message so I may call you back.
    3. Please leave me a message that I may call you back.


    I don't know the differences!

    1 and 2 are grammatically correct.

    It would be more natural to say

    'Please leave me a message and I'll call you back.'

    I had read the posts below it. For this reason, I can't figure out!
    For example, "NewdestinyX" and "anothersmith" believe that "that" is right in the sentence!
    "anothersmith" said that it sounds a bit archaic. I want to know if it really archaic. If so, then it is true.

    It was grammatical at one time but very few native speakers would use it these days.

    It's not worth arguing about.
