    Re: Separate or segregate

When when talk about two people, it's always separated.

Sometimes when a large group is kept apart from another (like an ethnic or religious group or a gender), we used segregated.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.

    Welcome to the forum.

You have been given the answer to your question but now please look at my corrections above, in red. Remember to start every sentence with a capital letter and end every sentence with a single, appropriate punctuation mark. Also, please enclose the words you are querying in quotation marks to make them clear.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
