not transferrable to your frequent flyer or frequent guest programs

I want to apply a credit card to earn air flight miles. One of Notes says:

Miles earned as rewards through the Capital OneŽ VentureŽ Card are fixed in value and not transferrable to your frequent flyer or frequent guest programs at airlines and hotels.

What does it mean "not transferrable to your frequent flyer or frequent guest programs at airlines and hotels"?

Re: not transferrable to your frequent flyer or frequent guest programs

It means that even if you already have a Frequent Flyer or Frequent Guest account with individual airlines or hotels, you can't use the rewards you gain through the credit card to add to those. It appears that the miles or points accrued using the credit card have to be used separately.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
