Hello Dear teachers,
I want to know which of these are incorrect and what's the difference in meaning among them:
1-I regret damaging your book.
2-I regret to damage your book.
3-I regret to have damaged your book.
4-I regret to have your book damaged.
5-I regret that I have damaged your book.
6- I regret I damaged your book.
It's my first time to feel confused with English Grammar .Tell me more and in details about the terminology of these sentences. Are these sentences related to Causative and PERFECT INFINITIVE ?. I'll appreciate your explanations and your useful links to find more about that. Thanks a million.:roll:
