he likes it to play games

I hope this is the correct place to aks this question.
    Very simple I suppose.
Can I say: "He likes it to play games"
I know that I can say (of course): "He likes to play games"

I searched the phrase "he likes it to play" on the internet and found many (about half a million) search results with this version.
So is it correct and only bad English or is it completely ok?

    Many thanks!

Re: he likes it to play games

If you want it to mean the same as "He likes to play games", then it is completely wrong.

It would work as the response to "What does he like it to do?" - "He likes it to play games". About the only context I can think of that working in would be if "it" was a robot.

    John has a new robot.
What does he like it to do?
He likes it to play games but his mother likes it to do the vacuuming.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
