Hi all,

I actually did a bit of search but there's no certain thing I can learn to tell if either has a different meaning in a different context. Does it just take some language sense to use them in the right way? I see it could also be a matter of collocations, as in many cases it's easy to say which one makes more sense. But in large, I can't figure out what the rules are. Could anyone please give me a practical hint on their usage?

Could you provide example sentences?

Well, obviously that seems to be 1 way how to use 'provide'. Thanks.
Honesty I have no particular sentences, and was just trying to know the difference.
Then, can we conclude that 'provide' is used for specific cases?

Matthew wasn't trying to be clever (I don't think), in post #2. We would like you to give us some example sentences using "supply" and "provide", and showing us how you think they would need to be used in specific cases. We can look at your example sentences and tell you whether "supply" and "provide" both work in them.
