    A Buddhist lady ?

Read these from "Reaching Out In Love: Stories Told by Mother Teresa":

"A Buddhist lady from Nepal died leaving her property to Mother Teresa..."

Is "a Buddhist lady" a Buddhist nun or just an ordinary woman who believes in Buddhism?

"On 2 October 1976, Mother Teresa laid the foundation stone of the Institute of Gandhian Studies in Allahabad."

Is "lay the foundation stone" the same idea as a ground breaking ceremony?
