    preposition in or on

    which sentence is acceptable? he is sleeping in the bed or he is sleeping on the bed

    Neither of your sentences is correct because they don't start with a capital letter. In addition, your second doesn't end with a punctuation mark. Please edit your post to make those corrections and then we can comment on the content.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
