She has had the nous & common sense

    Good Day all daylong ,
I noticed an expression from Audrey Roberts in Corrie which is '' she has had the nous and common sense'' ; since this is quite new to me I began looking for the source & the meaning of the expression .
Please tell me where it originates and what is the source of the 'nous' in the sentence .

    Welcome to the forum.

Did you Google the word "nous"? I Googled "definition of nous" and this was the main page I got. The meaning is clearly displayed at the top.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
