    Is this sentence good:

    I decided to move here because I couldn't see myself retiring in the middle east.

    Yes. But I would capitalize "Midde East".

    He used the negated form of could, so it will not happen.

    If you already live in the Middle East and can't imagine staying there after retirement, I would use "... retiring in the Middle East".
    If you currently live somewhere else and are discussing the possibility of moving to the Middle East after retirement, I would use "... retiring to the Middle East".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
