I find it repulsive to do something or I find doing something repulsive

    Hello again!

I would like to ask you if it is possible to use "I find it repulsive to do something" instead of saying "I find doing something repulsive".

Should I stick to "I find doing something repulsive" because it is a set phrase or may I use "I find it repulsive to do something" as an alternative to "I find doing something repulsive".

I am not trying to invent new English. I would just like to check with you.

    Thank you.

    They mean the same.

Neither of them is a set phrase.

Re: I find it repulsive to do something or I find doing something repulsive

I think that "I find doing something repulsive" is used much more often than "I find it repulsive to do something".
