if I'm looking to be a trainee, am I looking for a "training position"?

Doesn't it sound like I'm going to be the one doing the training instead of being a trainee? Should it say "trainee position?" Or "position as a trainee"? Or does the original sound okay?

    "Training position" is wrong.

I'm looking for a trainee position.
I'm looking for a position as a trainee.
