I'm going to leave home in the future.

    Hello, everyone.

Is it natural to say 'I'm going to leave home in the future'?
The intended meaning is 'I'm going to move out to be independent of my parents in the future.'

    Thank you.

Re: I'm going to leave home in the future.

The use of "I'm going to" pretty much negates the need for "in the future". You might hear "I'm going to leave home one/some day"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    *not a teacher*

It's the same as saying "I will leave home in the future."
