    There is a sentence in a play that I'm reading...

    There is a sentence in a play that I'm reading which I don't understand:

    "Some shadow group that's got a few thugs, an interrogation facility and the entire population by their short and curly logins."

    Coluld you please help me to understand?

    It makes no sense to me. It's a fragment, not a complete sentence and I can't fathom what "short and curly logins" might be!

    Me neither... It's from Jennifer Haley's play, the Nether. It's a futuristic play. The Internet is called the Nether. I'm translating the play to Turkish. I think that might be some kinda new words or phrases that the writer trying to be futuristic. I feel helpless.
