    Passive Voice

Hi everybody.Which one is correct or more natural? Why?
1.This letter is written by my father.
2.This letter was written by my father.
I'm confused because there's no indicator I can depend on to choose one tense over the other.

    Re: Passive Voice

They can both be correct, depending on context. The second would be more common because it happened in the past.

    Re: Passive Voice

"Just one answer is possible". That's simply not true. You've been told that both are grammatically possible.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Passive Voice

Tiger, I already gave you a reason. But you have provided no context.
