Question:Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Many people think than we need to live our own life and make our own mistakes but others do not agree. They prefer to follow their parent's, teacher's and role model's style of life. As far as I am concerned it is significant to learn after other people's experience.
First, if we learn about the past we will prevent many mistakes in the future. For instance, after any aircraft took place specialists always analyze the reason and make changes to save people in the future.
Second, we can understand the actions that cause wars. Actually, many scientists make predictions about economic and political problems based on an experience of others.
Furthermore, currently we may better understand people's diseases and start treatment earlier. For example, a wide experience of our doctors helped them to predict sickness in South Africa. As a result many lives were saved after the learning about the past.
One should, nevertheless, consider the problem from another angle. People easier learn after making their own mistakes.
In conclusion I what to add, it is sophisticated to predict all of the disasters that may happen in the future, but we should follow other people experience. If I only had a choice I prefer to learn about the past and not to make mistakes in the present.
