    Dear teachers,

I invited a family to our house yesterday for lunch. I think I gave them more than they could eat. Could I say something like this " I am afraid I should say sorry because I think I overstuff you and your family during the lunch yesterday?

    Re: Overstuff

Overeating is a choice, so unless you force-fed your guests, there is no need to apologize.

    Re: Overstuff

If your guests ate until they were stuffed, that's a compliment to you, the host. They enjoyed the food that was served.

If you're curious as to whether they had a good time, you could tell them the next day, "I'm so glad you came for lunch yesterday, I really enjoyed having you. I hope we can do it again sometime."
