    Name .vs Titl!

    hey,
    i was wondering, is there a difference between 'naming' and 'titling', in general, and also when talking about a musical piece?
    how should i say;
    i'm having a hard time naming my tunes.
    or
    i'm having a hard time titling my tunes.

    thanks!

    Welcome to the forum.

    First, please see my corrections above in red. It is important to start every sentence with a capital letter and to capitalise the word "I" every time you write it. Also note that in your title, you spelt "title" incorrectly and you punctuated "vs" incorrectly. You don't have to put a full stop anywhere with it but if you want to put it somewhere, it goes after the "s". Your title should have looked like this: "Name vs. title" or "Name vs title".

    Of the two you suggested, I would choose the first sentence. However, in real life, I would say "I'm having a hard time thinking of a name for my tunes/songs".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Because songs are usually said to have titles, I would say "I am having a difficult time coming up with titles for my songs/tunes."

    Thank you!
    And also for all the other corrections! I do take note of that.
