    doesn't get enough love

I believe this is an idiom, correct me if I'm wrong:

"Kurtis doesn't get enough love. He was the first solo Hip Hop artist I believe to have a full album"

    Does this "
doesn't get enough love" actually mean people like him?

    Yes, it's idiomatic.

In this context it means something more like 'respect' or acknowledgement/appreciation for his achievement/record/milestone of being the first hip-hop artist with a full album.

Thank you Skrej, but does it mean "he gets" or "he does not get" enough respect
