    Question Quick grammar question

    Hello everybody!

    This is my first post at this forum and i would like to apologize if i have written in the wrong section or anything! :)

    Now to the question;
    I'm simply asking if this quote is grammatically correct, and i would really appreciate any help!

    "The spirit of those dead lies in the memories of those alive"

    Welcome to the forum.

    Note that you must capitalise the word "I" every time you write it but don't capitalise "you" unless it's at the start of a sentence or the start of a quoted sentence.

    Also note that thread titles should include some/all of the words you are querying. A good title for this thread would have been "The spirit of those dead".

    Your sentence is not wrong but I would probably say "The spirit of the dead lies in the memory of the living."
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
