    "Electrical Energetics study program" ?

It's me again with my odd questions:) Thank you for your earlier replies.
I have one more phrase in doubt = "Electrical Energetics study program". Can anyone please tell me if i can use it? This study program is about power transmission and distribution. It's a word by word translation from my native language. It doesn't sound too bad though I have some doubts... Thank you in advance.

"Electrical Energetics" sounds like a form of exercise.

    "Energetics" is not a word.

If your class is about power transmission and distribution, I would suggest you use those words to describe it.

Yes, that phrase is ok, but you would also see/hear 'Electrical Energetics program of study' or even just 'Electrical Energetics program'.

Actually, that was my first thought as well, but then I found this.

I learned a new word today.

Re: "Electrical Energetics study program" ?

Well, maybe it's a specialized word, but I stand by my advice that he is best off describing what he is talking about using the words that are simple.
