Hello!
How could I say about a man who benefits his country, who makes something good for his country, who acts as a patriot and so on? Is it possible to say "He is helpful for his state"?

I think "patriot" pretty much sums it up.

Hello!
[STRIKE]How[/STRIKE] What could I say/How could I talk about a man who benefits his country, who [STRIKE]makes[/STRIKE] does something good for his country, who acts as a patriot and so on? Is it possible to say "He is helpful for his state"?

Note my amendments above. We don't say "How could I say about ...?" As shown, you can say "What can I say about ...?" or "How can I talk about ...?"

I agree with Mike. He is a patriot or he is patriotic.

Patriotism is more to do with loyalty. A philantropist also does good and benefit the country

Philanthropists often benefit narrow groups or charities.

I think "patriot" pretty much sums it up.
The problem is that "patriot" is in the first sentence and that is not what I want. All in all, it sounds wrong "A man who benefits his country, who does something good for his country, who acts as a patriot is a patriot". I think I was not very clear :)
I'll try to rephrase my initial question. For example, scientists, artists, sportsmen benefit their country, all of them do something good for their country, some of them might act as patriots (for instance, scientists who risk their lives dealing with nuclear energy or something like that, it's just an example). These people are useful(?), helpful(?) (what is the most appropriate word here?) for the country.

I think he makes contributions to his country, but I am not a teacher.
