Which is the correct one? "took his glasses off" Or " took off his glasses"

Hi all,

When I was reading a book, I found this sentence

He took off his glasses and put them on again.


If I wrote that sentence in this way. Is this has same meaning like above one? please explain, thank you..

He took his glasses off and put on them again

If I write that sentence as follows, does it have the same meaning?

He took his glasses off and put on them again. Don't forget the full stop.
Both sentences have the same meaning.

The end of the second sentence is not correct. Your change to the first part was fine. But we don't say "put on them again".
