    as farther from

    Hi,

Could anyone say me what "as farther from" means?

By allowing fingerprints that are similar to be displayed in clear discernable clusters and returning visual feedback to the users as they create their fingerprint groups, these modules become a powerful analytical tool to identify poor quality fingerprints as they can be visually distinguished as farther from the main group within these clusters.

    Thanks

    Re: as farther from

Poor quality fingerprints will be further away from the clusters than the good ones, which makes it easy to distinguish them simply by looking.

    Could anyone tell me...

It sounds like there is a main group of "good fingerprints" and then clusters based on their quality. It should be easy to see that you are looking at a poor-quality print because it is in a cluster that is far from the "good" ones.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
