They are both OK. I would use, '…was wondering if anybody had…'.

..was wondering if anybody had suggestions or wants to meet up?

    Why "had" and "wants"?
    I am not a teacher.

I would use 'has' and 'wants', but I am not a teacher.

I consider the comma unnecessary, but I am not a teacher.

I would use "has". You want to know about current suggestions, not past ones.

But doesn't the sentence have to follow the if conditional rule?

I don't think it is a conditional sentence because 'if' means 'whether' here, but I am not a teacher.
