Use of ' would ' in past tense.

    Hello,
I know ' would ' is form of ' will ' in the past tense, but i have some misunderstanding about its usage in the past tense. Could anyone please review the following sentences and give me an clear idea.

If I had money, I would buy the car. (Or) if I had money, I would have bought the car.

If he wasn't there, it would be difficult. ( or ) if he wasn't there, it would have been difficult.

If I were you, I wouldn't have done that. ( or ) if I were you, I wouldn't do that.

Are these sentences correct? And kindly explain the apportiate situation to use ' would '.

    Thanks

Before we answer your question, please edit your post capitalising the personal pronoun "I".
