Student or Learner
Do teachers leave for summer break the same day as students? Or do they spent a few extra days at the school cleaning and packing up in their classrooms? I'm wondering this because I won't be attending my highschool graduation ceremony and I never got to say goodbye to any of my teachers. It's heartbreaking because I was really close with some of them. But I will be making up some missed gym days after the graduation day, which means I will be at the school for a bit, so maybe I could say goodbye to my teachers then? Will they still be there for awhile after the last day of school?
That probably depends upon the school. Often the faculty stay a few days later, as well as arriving a few days earlier, but it varies by school as well as the personal circumstances of the teacher.
You'll just have to see if the teacher is still there when you return for your makeup days.
You could always leave them a letter as well, even if they aren't there. Nowadays, most teachers have some kind of email assigned to them through the school as well.
