    Get the drivers up

    Dear all,

What does the phrase "get the drivers up" mean in the following context?

The Properties tab will have a checkbox for Compatability Mode. Try this out. If it doesn't work, you'll need to ask the manufacturer if they'd please get Windows 7 drivers up, as soon as possible. Most manufacturers have made the move to Windows 7 drivers, but it's good to have this technique if something goes awry.

    Thank you.

    Re: Get the drivers up

To get the drivers up means to come up with new drivers for the programme to run on Windows 7 operating system. Some programmes are written before Windows 7 came into being and would only run on say, Window XP or earlier Windows but not Windows 7.

Make the drivers available (presumably by putting them up on the website) for their customers to download.

    get something up
    to arrange or organize something

I suspect that the above definition fits the meaning here, but I am not a teacher.
