Hello,
I'll try to express myself the best, here.
My issue is how to express my self in cases like this one:
I didn't take/took any notes.
The same goes for have along w/ an irregular verb :(
Can you explain it to me?

Sincerely,
Filipe Rocha

Hello, Filipe-- and welcome to UE.

The negative past is representated by did not (rather than present do/does not); the main verb does not change from the dictionary form:

We didn't go last night.
I didn't take notes.
She didn't learn anything.

What is your question about have?
.

With "to have". Shall we say
"I Haven't [taken/took] lessons."
What is the tense we should use? Simple Past or Past Participle?
Actually the all issue goes on this. When should we use either tenses?
Thanks again.

HAVE + past participle
have seen
have taken
have been
have done

HAD + past participle
had seen
had taken
had been
had done

All the best. :-D
