    prior to the accident

    Are these sentences correct?

Prior to the accident my estimated age of retirement was age 65. Now my estimated age of retirement is age 60.

    Re: prior to the accident

How do you 'estimate' your age of retirement? How it is that it can change?
    I am not a teacher.

The world 'age' before the number(age) is not required.
