Hello to everybody!

I wonder what the correct answers to the following questions are

1. Am I allowed to call him right now?

a)Yes, you are. -> correct
b)Yes, you are allowed.
c)Yes, you are allowed to.

2. Do I have to call him right now?

a) Yes, you do. -> correct
b) Yes, you have
c) Yes, you have to.

3. Have I got to call him right now?
a) Yes, you have.
b) Yes, you have to.

Is it necessary or not possible to put in or leave out the preposition "to" in the answers above?

THanks in advance

Yours buddy42

I wouldn't use 1b- maybe it's a BrE difference.

I wouldn't use 1b either but I'm not sure I'd say if was wrong if someone else did.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's an error either, but would use 1c instead if I wanted to say allowed.

So would I.

However,
A: "Can you come out tonight?"
B: "No, I'm not allowed." This is normal in AusE, though I agree that "I'm not allowed to" would also be correct.

This works in BrE too with this question.
