    Got or gotten?

Need some help here. Which sentence is correct?

    2. My mom's birthday is tomorrow, and I still haven't got her a present.

    Re: Got or gotten?

I believe both are acceptable in AmE. In BrE, we almost never use "gotten".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Got or gotten?

If you read post #2, it is obvious that "got" is more common in BrE. They are both common in AmE.

    Re: Got or gotten?

Probably 'got' is more commonly heard as it is both the past tense of the verb and also its past participle. 'Gotten' is only a past participle.
