    Arrow heavily made up

If a person looks much more beautiful in the photo than he really is, due to camera trick or some other photographic technicality, can we say that his photo is highly made up. Or is there any other word to describe artificiality or beautification in the photo.

    Re: heavily made up

You would only use 'made-up' if the beautification was the result of cosmetics. For example, these women are all heavily made-up.

If it's digital enhancement, then the terms offered by others above would be the ones to use. 'Enhanced' or 'digitally enhanced' is another such option.

    Re: heavily made up

In the late 80's or maybe it was the early 90's, there was an American TV personality named Tammy Faye Bakker, who in addition to being a televangelist, was perhaps more famous for wearing ludicrous amounts of make-up. In fact, she was always so heavily made-up it inspired a t shirt which played upon a literal meaning of the phrasal verb 'run into'.
