    correct sentence

    being asleep is sometimes more exhausting than being awake / or / sometimes it is more exhausting to sleep than being awake.

    which of these sentences is more accurate

    Neither is accurate in my experience. I've never found sleeping to be more exhausting that being awake.
    The first is more grammatically correct.
    The second can be fixed? Sometimes it is more exhausting to sleep than to be awake.
    All English sentences must start with a capital letter and end with the correct end punctuation.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
