    Just a quick question

Is there actually a word for doing something once before midday and once after, such as if I were to do X amount of sit-ups at 8am then repeat that at 8pm, would there be a word to sum this up, like how to do something every 3 months is to do something quarterly.

    Re: Just a quick question

If it's a regular (possibly daily) event, you could say "I do my 50 morning sit-ups at 7am every day. I usually do my afternoon sit-ups between 3pm and 5pm".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You would be doing sit-ups twice a day, or every twelve hours.

    Re: Just a quick question

Apologies, I missed that the times were given as 8am and 8pm. In that case, I would use "I do my morning sit-ups at 8am and my evening sit-ups at 8pm/my evening sit-ups twelve hours later".

In this forum, Ollie, even informal messages like this must be properly punctuated.

    Perhaps "twice daily"?
