Hi,

The other day I found some phonological rules which intrigued me because they are really helping me to improve my pronunciation. But I can understand that "/t/ becomes rounded when it occurs at the beginning of a word before /w/;" e.g. twin, twenty etc.

But I can't understand the bold part. Please help me.

[+alveolar, + stop, - voiced] some symbols were in this space which I have understood [+bilabial, + semi-vowel, + voiced]

Thank you. I'm giving one more example: Please help.

A vowel is nasalized when it occurs before a nasal consonant. When vowels are followed by nasal sounds, they can be nasalized.

And, Man, Song, Tank

[+ vowel, + vocalic + voiced] -> [+ consonant, + nasal, + voiced]
