    Shelled

    Which one is correct

    1) shelled prawns
    or
    2) peeled prawns

Or is it regional and both are equally correct?

    thank you

    Re: Shelled

I'm vegetarian so don't eat seafood but I would say I see/hear "peeled prawns" more often in BrE.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Shelled

To me, they both work in British English, although you'd probably see "peeled prawns" in shops more often than "shelled prawns".
