    Red face Attached & Appended

    Dear Teacher,

Kindly tell me the differences in using the title verbs in commercial letters.

    Thank you

    Re: Attached & Appended

    Hello Murli

I would use "attached" for an extra item (e.g. a copy of a document, or a photograph), and "appended" for something that is added at the end of the letter (e.g. an extract from another letter).

Or to put it another way: if it's in the same document, it's "appended", and if it's a different document, it's "attached".

    Have a good weekend,
    MrP
