    Someone is talking about his girlfriend, can we say: He discuss his girlfriend?

    Welcome to the forums, alexball. You could say "He is discussing his girlfriend", that would be grammatical. It would, however, be more natural to say "He is talking about his girlfriend".

    It's probably the same difference as the French 'Il parle de sa copine' and 'Il discute sa copine'.
